I'm Jessica

I am a product designer living in Chicago. I am passionate about user-centered design and love to create beautiful, intuitive interfaces. I especially love prototyping and creating animations for design projects. Before becoming a designer I worked as an engineer for six years, where I learned a whole lot of C++, Scrum, and project management. While I loved the collaborative nature of my work and analytical problem solving, I found myself continually longing for a career that incorporated my love for visual art and design. After a lot of soul searching and taking a ton of online personality and strength quizzes I determined that UX/UI design would satisfy my interests in technology, problem solving, psychology, and visual design. I then signed up for the Designation/Flatiron UX/UI design bootcamp and have been loving the work ever since.
